If you do much downloading from the internet you quickly realize that the drive that once seemed so big is rapidly shrinking. There are two problems with the downloads; 1) they take up space and 2) you have to somehow mange all that digital content. If it’s audio, video or still images there are several solutions but with the Mac most will probably use iTunes and iPhoto. For other things like software I am on the lookout for a good solution.
If you are interested in a more robust way to deal with downloads head on over to Screen casts online and check show no. SCO085 for a video on a product called speed download which will give you additional options for you download workflow.
Hint! Don at Screen Casts Online often has a promo code so that you can save money on the software he recommends. Check it out; Don is a great Chap with lots of useful Mac Info.
